Section 40:JUNIOR LIVESTOCK--POULTRY

EXHIBITS RECEIVED: Thursday, September 11,2008, 6:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m. at back gate by bridge.
RELEASE TIME: 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2008
ENTRY FEE: $1.00

1. Limited to members of chapters or clubs residing in Humboldt, Lake and Mendocino Counties and within the boundaries of the Cloverdale School District in Sonoma County.
2. Rules, definitions and judging procedures as prescribed in latest edition of the Official Show Rules and the Standards of Perfection of the American Poultry Association, Inc., shall apply to all where they are in conflict with the rules and regulations prescribed by the Department of Food and Agriculture.
3. Poultry inspection required. All birds must be inspected at back parking lot entrance to Fairgrounds by bridge before access to Fairgrounds will be allowed.
4. All birds must be free of mites on check-in to the fairgrounds. If found to be infected, birds will not be accepted for showing and will be removed from the fairgrounds immediately.
5. First bedding only will be supplied. Exhibitor is responsible for any bedding changes.
6. Birds will be shown and judged in the proper division and class for breed, variety, age and sex only.
7. For all classes of Standard-bred chickens, turkeys, ducks, and geese, all birds must be identified by leg bands conforming to the entry form on arrival at the show.
8. All exhibitors will be required to wear the official show uniform of the organization they represent.
9. LIMIT YOUNGER MEMBER: Younger members are limited to two (2) animals per exhibitor. Younger members will show in regular classes.
