DEADLINE FOR LIVESTOCK ARRIVAL: 10:00 p.m., Thursday, September 11,2008
JUDGING BEGINS: 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2008
FEEDING TIME: 6:00 - 8:30 a.m., daily
RELEASE TIME: 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2008
ENTRY FEE: $1.50

  1. Limited to members of chapters or clubs residing in Humboldt, Lake and Sonoma County. (See local rule 2)
  2. Sow, Junior Yearlings or older must have raised a litter of pigs to be eligible for entry.
  3. Gilts entered in the market or feeder hog division may not be entered in the breeding divisions, or vice versa. Any violations of this rule will exclude the offending exhibitor from competition in all departments of the fair.
  4. Draw notching on entry forms. Do not use numbers to identify notching.
  5. A survey has been made of the seven recognized purebred swine associations regarding acceptance of litter registrations. The Berkshire and Poland China Associations accept litter registrations. The Duroc Association accepts litter registration only if submitted by the OWNER/BREEDER. The Chester White, Hampshire, Spotted Poland China and Yorkshire Associations no longer accept litter registration certificates.
