DEADLINE FOR LIVESTOCK ARRIVAL: 10:00 p.m., Thursday, September 11,2008
FEEDING TIME: 6:00 - 8:30 a.m. daily
RELEASE TIME: 6:30 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2008

  1. Open to members of chapters or clubs residing in Humboldt, Lake, Mendocino, and Sonoma Counties. (See local rule 3).
  2. All females 24 (twenty-four) months of age or older at the beginning day of the fair must:
    1. have a calf at side; or
    2. show obvious signs of pregnancy; or
    3. have a veterinarian's certificate of pregnancy.
  3. NOTE: Nurse Cows will not be permitted on fairgrounds.

GRADE OR UNREGISTERED PUREBRED ANIMALS BY PUREBRED SIRE

  1. Animals entered in the following class cannot be entered in any other class of the Beef Cattle Divisions.
  2. BY HIS/HER SIGNATURE AS THE OWNER OR AGENT ON ANY ENTRY FORM, THE EXHIBITOR ALSO CERTIFIES THAT THE SIRE OF EACH ANIMAL ENTERED IN THE FOLLOWING DIVISIONS FOR GRADE ANIMALS WAS EITHER REGISTERED OR PUREBRED.
  3. A permanent ear tag or tattoo number is required.
  4. Animals which have been registered by a purebred breed association cannot be entered in this Division.
