JUDGING BEGINS: 9:00 a.m., Friday, September 12, 2008
- Limited to residents of Humboldt, Lake, Mendocino Counties and those residing within the boundaries of the Cloverdale School District in Sonoma County.
- Feature Exhibits (Booths) shall be limited to one entry by or for a county, community, organization, or non-commercial entry.
- State Rule Section II Rule 7 does not apply to booth exhibitors. Exhibits MUST BE MAINTAINED FOR THE DURATION OF THE FAIR.
- The description on the entry form for Feature Exhibits (Booths) should indicate the approximate number of square feet required for the display.
- Feature exhibits must be completed by midnight, Thursday, September 11,2008.
- No alcoholic beverages allowed on premises during set-up . Disqualification of exhibit from judging will result.
- The Fair management requests that on Thursday, September 11,2008 after 3:00 p.m. all vehicles associated with the production of the feature booths be removed from the Agriculture Building in order to reduce the congestion and reduce the potential for an accident. It is also advised not to park behind the building since access is still needed for the apple growers.
- Variety Feature Exhibits (Booths) will be limited to those that display the advantages and diversity of the agricultural products grown in the county, community or area represented.
- All paper used in the construction must be of an approved flameproof material. The products displayed must have been produced by members of the community or organizations within the area represented. A typewritten or printed list of the products contained in the booth, arranged alphabetically, or separated by classes must be attached to (or be part of) the exhibit or the percentage of the score earned for the variety will not be allowed.
- Exhibitors are required to remove all labels, signs or other evidence of ownership before presentation for adjudication other than the Exhibitor Tag secured from the Fair Office. All exhibits in this division must display their names appropriate to their exhibit ONLY AFTER JUDGING IS COMPLETED. Standard size name card to use: 1 1/2" by 4".
- No restriction on the type of containers that may be used to exhibit varieties.

- This division of agriculture (vegetables, grain) and horticulture (fruit) products grown in California (does not include wood, rock or gravel) are to be displayed to represent an original idea or theme in artistic manner in a three dimensional exhibit.
- Attach a printed list of products used arranged in alphabetical order. Exhibits with an exposed back must be attractively covered on the outside.
- The use of recordings, tapes or any other type of sound or noisemaker is PROHIBITED.
